I've never seen an EMass girls list posted anywhere but here. Last time it was to support an argument that teams with lots of younger EMass players were going to be more successful.

There has been a game right before Thanksgiving designed for seniors only. Other players are asked to come watch to support them and sometimes they have played if there weren't enough seniors. There was a short ceremony after the game. The invitations come by mail without a list of all the honorees.

Coaches who participate in the voting must have the names or at least those being voted on.

They have and continue to invite juniors and underclassmen to the EMASS all-star game.

It's not a secret to those players that were named All-Stars.

What do you want to bet if someone came on here and listed th All Stars from their high school team this same poster would complain about not having them all or that those players didn't deserve it.

Its far from perfect so there are always players who deserve to be there are overlooked and vice versa. No secret and not unlike any other event where coaches can exercise personal agendas or sway the votes.

If it's not a secret, how come know one knows who is on the various all star teams? People can't even state who was on last year's various teams.

From another thread in response to asking where the EMass all star lists are posted:

They are not, each coach from each school has the list and each player will get a mailing informing them of the honor plus there will be a game that matches all the seniors together (they will be split into 2 teams) and will play a game. After the game, all the players, seniors, juniors, etc will be announced that made the EMGA All Star teams. Only the seniors play in the game and the game is usually held in Boston ...

Don't knowwhen All Americans are announced. Out here in CMASS have to wait for the newspaper awards section that always comes out on the same date as the CMASS awards banquet. This year is January 3rd. Typically always the Sunday after 1/1. Some of the award winners will be at Disney this year.
