Bayside U14 Boys Coach a Disgrace

How does a coach who has been repeatedly ejected from games, continues to berate referees, encourages dirty soccer on the field by permitting bad behavior, and issues verbal taunts at opposing coaches, still have his MAPLE Card? One would think that when 3 police cruisers have to show up to a game to escort him off the field, the time has come to take action.

I only see a Bayside listed once in the Maple site.

I had heard that there was a problem more than once.

    What are the facts?

Carlos has been a member of the Bayside F.C. staff for 8 years, he has led his teams to 4 State Champhionships and has gained respect Regionally for playing an attractive brand of soccer and competing and having success at Regional tournaments such as Disney Showcase, PDA, and Potomac. Carlos is currently an Assistant Coach at Rhode Island College, leading them to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year as well as winning the Little East Championship. He experience and wealth of knowledge have been huge assets to our Club and its players. Coach Carlos will be working with our U-14 Boys team this season.

As opposed to your post which is a huge hatchet job on the guy in a public form. You are an equal disgrace.

The unfortunate thing is that it isn't a “Hatchet Job”. There are numerous people who should be able to confirm all of the facts presented over at least a two year span. Furthermore, why are people so afraid to do something about it? Does it need to come to this, police called to a game? What example are we trying to set for our children? I didn't disgrace him in a public forum. He did it to himself when he acted like a child, and threatened a game official and taunted players and coaches from the opposite team.

If there is a rational explanation for his behavior I challenge you to bring it on.

I once saw a coach trip a U10G player who was running by his bench, away from the play. After she fell, the coach started pounding his chest and then turned to the fallen girl's teammates and yelled "You want some?" It was bizarre.

Have you witnessed this behavior. Or is your knowledge second hand? Who are you and what is your agenda?
