She is a very good player, and she fit right in. Haley B. stole the show Sun. She's almost impossible to cover when running onto slotted thru balls. In the 2nd half, United tightened up their "D" and passed a bunch even after losing the Swede.

Surprised you didn't write "lack of scoring punch" like you normally do

Rovers appear to be hampered by a lack of scoring punch.

I hate to deal with stereotypes, but I assume that she was the tallish platinum blond playing right full back. Whoever that was she moved beautifully and until she was taken down was able to handle the Rovers' physicality with no problem.

What a troll you are, I asked JD after the game how she was and what happened. He said she just rolled her ankle while dribbling. No contact and definately not because physical play from the Rovers.

And somehow this thread has turned into a Stars discussion...Again... Why don't you all just meet for a cup of coffee and discuss amongst yourselves. No one else cares!

It will be interesting to see if the Rovers can fix this problem. Heard they added some forwards to the roster this year so this might help.

Woooaaa - I am a Rovers fan and I'm sorry you took it that way, 'cause I really didn't mean it as a negative. Rovers are physical - not dirty - physical. I think that is a good thing - especially when dealing with other physical teams/players. The Swede was physical - not dirty - too.

I'm glad it was just a rolled ankle and not a kick to the back of ankle which is what it looked like from my spot at the opposite corner odf the field.

Did JD tell you what the college coaches thought of her performance?

Isn't CASL the same weekend as the HS championships? Could be a conflict for some players. What about Coach T? If Needham makes the finals it could pose a problem for him as well as some of his players.

It's just that one dude with the thing about the Rovers - can't let it go.

Which dude is that? What's the "thing" he/she has about the Rovers?

College coaches at an inter-club scrimmage sounds doubtful, especially when their teams are in season. Which colleges?
