From the Globe:
Game of the Week:
Concord-Carlisle at Acton-Boxboro, Sunday, 5: In 2009, the Colonials knocked off the Patriots in the first round of the Division 1 North playoffs. In 2010, however, Concord-Carlisle looks to be the class of the Dual County League. The Patriots, 8-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 in league play, will look to prove they are a legitimate contender this year, while Acton-Boxboro — no slouch at 6-2-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the Dual County Large — attempts to prove it’s still the team to beat.

Arlington is leaving the DCL for the Middlesex next year. Is there a team replacing it in the DCL? What will this do to the Middlesex? Is someone leaving? Will they now playa 20 game schedule?

Originally posted by HS Harry View PostWilmington is leaving the CAL and also headed to the Midd. This will make it a 12 team, two division conference. My guess is that they will split into a large and small (based on enrollment) and have 16 game schedules. Two against the teams in your own division and one against teams in the other. Just as the DCL is currently formatted. No news on a replacement for Arlington. Obviously the DCL needs to find one, and in the short term, they will probably run a 5-6 split. But there are other troubles on the horizon. Word is that Latin is not thrilled with their situation in the DCL (travel and competition issues) and there has never been much doubt that Newton South would prefer the Bay State. Tyngsboro has never really fit in, and the deaparture of Arlington (a "small" school) puts them at a greater competitive disadvantage in the league. The other problem is that many "available" teams that abutt the DCL play in the Central Region. That may not seem like much, but remember that league formatting and admissions are almost always based on football concerns - so its a real question if teams like Nashoba or Leomenster (that would seem to be a good fit) would leave the CM region to join the DCL?

AB 2- LS 1
AB scores first, LS scores on a PK (ball to hand). AB gets the PK back, take down from behind in the box.

Ab 2 ls 1
AB scores first. LS PK (Hand to Ball). AB PK (unclear as to basis of call).
We call this perspective.
