What rules did NEFC actually break? Was this NEFC or the coaches that were with the Scorpions that joined NEFC after the name change/merger?

The real story is that back in March, PM & BB originally approached the Stars and promised to bring over the Scorpions junior academy. Then the Stars could start expanding to the South Coast and the South Shore. JD, being the smart man that he is, declined. Then NEFC came along and promised the moon & the stars if they could also bring their current U12 & U13 teams. BB succeeded, with the help of a couple of parents but PM was unsuccessful. His team was already looking forward to a coaching change.
Many posters have correctly reported the blatant recruiting that was done by these 2. They promised better fees, better fields, better leadership, no change in status (ie. div 1 play) and better coaching.
I'm pretty sure that JD is keeping a close watch on this as something like this could happen to him if no action is taken. Hopefully MAPLE & MYSA will have the balls to do something about it!

Here is the real story...
FC Puma and NE Eagles decide to merge, two successful coaches of the Scorpions decide to change the company they work for and work for the newly created NEFC. Many Scorpion players/parents really liked these coaches and decided they would follow them to NEFC. Some Scorpion parents decided they would stay with Scorpions. Since then.....Scorpion left behind parents realized they made a big mistake as the NEFC teams will be much more successful and they are on a sinking ship. They decide to start rumors accussing the departing coaches of all sorts of things. None of this is true, but it sounds good in a soccer forum.
When nothing happens everyone will realize this was just a hoax, we will go on with our lives and NEFC will become stronger and Scorpions weaker. Thats just the way it is.

Bad blood. Period. The recruiting that takes place by virtually all clubs is absurd. Nothing different here. No story to continue.

Parents typically don't care about what is going on with any team but the team for which their child plays. I doubt this rumor is being perpetuated by parents at all as these are some really young kids at issue. But, just in case...if this really is all rumor (there is no complaint etc) then scorpion people will look foolish. If there is anything to it then NEFC will, I guess. I say , for parents, who really cares? Here is something for parents to keep in mind. Regardless of what team your child is on at present, the reality is there is a strong likelihood that he/she may not be with that team in just 2-3 years. As they age, and particularly if a team is successful, it will be increasingly difficult for your child to remain on that team. The coaches who you think the world of today, will cut your child without hesitation if a stronger player comes along tomorrow. That is how club soccer works, and should work. So if you are wasting a lot of time smearing or defending clubs etc then you are likely not enjoying this experience with your child to the fullest. Many with older kids would tell you the very same thing. Parents should be concerned with their child's happiness as it relates to the sport. Leave the mudslinging to those who reap the financial rewards in this oft insane subculture. Life is short and so is childhood.

If you are the parent of a kid on a successful team and many of your teammates move to another club and you are left behind, the blood is incredibly bad.
Jilted soccer parents can be some of the most vicious and classless people you will ever meet. They can be all sweet and smiles on the sidelinesnwhen you're on the same team. But cross them in some way, and they will stop at nothing to descredit the parents that left, the coaches that left, and most distburingly, the kids that left. They are overcome with the desire for the failure of those who left.
That's all you have here.
By continually posting questions regarding a supposed "hearing", you simply perpetuate the rumor, and feed into the negative vile being spewed by those left behind.
The classless Scorpions parents who were left behind are counting on you to believe these rumors to stir their own frenzy. The one thing that can hurt them is an audience of people who don't care. Don't give them what they want. Ignore them. They are nothing more than a screaming infant looking for attention. If you ignore the screaming child, they eventaully stop, realizing that the screaming does not get them the attention they are looking for.
Step back, enjoy watching your kids play, then give them a hug when they are done. There are thousands of kids who will benefit from that. Not one kid benefits from a bunch of immature parents who spread false rumors and trashes others.

I agree in large part with your post. But what are you suggesting that the Scorpion parents gain in all of this? Even if people believe there was a hearing and there wasn't... I don't get it. Is it you think they believe they are damaging a reputation? I still say these posts are between employees of these clubs, perhaps even disguised as parents. In fact I would venture a guess that 95% of parents with kids under the age of U16 never even heard about this forum. I will also say that if coaches are manipulating parents to say/do things to serve their own agenda, then that is despicable. Same can be said if coaches did meet with parents improperly and are now claiming that those parents are fabricating rumors to cover their own butts. In fact, that is significantly worse. Either way, this garbage has to cease.

While 95% of parents may have never heard of this forum, it only takes one to start whispering in the ears, "have you seen the discussion on Talking-Soccer about the kids that went to NEFC? It looks like an investigation is happening.....", and BOOM, you have a wildfire.
There are a thousand better ways to use your time and enegry people.
