When is the ECNL going to offer continuous high level soccer throughout the year, like the boys MLS Next? ECNL girls players are losing high level development time by taking 4 months off every year to play low level high school soccer. Let the RL and EDP players have high school soccer just like ODP. Both ODP and High School soccer are outdated and are not helping development.

Parents are too attached to nostalgia, even at the expense of soccer development. Girls Academy used to compete year round, but stopped due to parent pressure on having a high school soccer season. It is pretty sad.
