My son's teammate is moving to MD and the family could use advice on clubs in the area. I forget the name of the town, but it's on the bay between Annapolis and BWI. The team he's leaving will be playing in the new National Academy League next year and he's one of the stronger players, so they're looking for a fairly competitive team. Ideally, there would be friends/classmates on the team as he'll be the "new kid" and it might help ease the transition socially. I'll try to remember to get the name of the town and update later.
Ideally, he'd be in a club that has access to higher level leagues--MLS, NAL, ECNL, etc. I'm sure tryouts for next year are already done, so that might be an issue, but I think they'd at least like to start by looking at those clubs. Any recommendations?
