They have some very skilled players, but on the big field, they just can't play with the bigger, faster, stronger teams...and they do not have any real difference makers. They have a couple girls playing up, but even with those will always be a middling team.

Wrong the 3 '09s playing up on a better '08 team would all make a signficant difference with their age group team 09s, One of them is a pure #10 who has USYNT camps in her resume. Problem is they moved recenty from MDU and were promised to play up with '08s so doubtful they would go muddle around wth their less sucessfil age group. 09s at BSC are a lost age group, the even years there are going to be fine though, 06, 08, 10s. We'll see how 11s do next year on bigger field, but they have at least one player already able to play up with 10s so reaons for optimism

06s-might not make playoffs, 08s-might not make playoffs, if they do, they will likely go 0-3. 10s will make playoffs and have a chance to make it out of group play…but they are 12/13 so who cares.

USYNT is great and all but you have to be a team player to amount to anything. These 09s playing up would certainly help but remember there was two good trapped players with the 09s as well in the fall. Maybe 09s would have narrowly gotten last playoff spot but then the 08s fall out of third? Pick your poison I guess. 08s probably have the better upside so can’t blame the families.

Yes but there were also two 2008 trapped players with the 09s in the Fall. One played CM and the other on defense. Those two had more effect with the 09s than the two 09s that are playing up. Or maybe it’s even? Point is, the two playups would not have made a huge difference if they stayed on age.

Let's be honest, the two playing up, should be playing at age, and are not 09 elite players; not saying they are not good, but not elite....usynt dad and only a few are elite from the camp.

One could be considered elite. The rest of the 08 team are just good players and they also have a deep bench. Having a deep roster usually means success.
