We already have players coming next fall and will be right back where we were this past fall. Same thing happened to our 08s last year and look at where they are now. You’re right though, we are not making ECNL playoffs during a year that nobody cares about, except you. Will happily save $5k for the following year.

All of those shenanigans and they still only got a couple 1 goal wins in the fall. Seems like there isn’t any depth or true talent on the team with the results so far this spring season.

We have played them, overall pretty weak team, no stars on the team; good technically but just can't compete with the other ECNL clubs in the area...lost two players to FCV, will lose a couple more this year to other clubs or pick up 13-16 players....going to be a tough gong for this group. No USYNT players either,

And this is coming from a parent of what team? The only loser I see is the one that hides who they are. There is only one team in our division who we have ever had issues with. One. So man up and say where you are from before calling another team’s parents losers!

Players are coming. One of the top, if not the top player in DMV is joining in the fall. Also a few other ECNL players. Not worried. The FCV players were not the difference makers that the new players will be. And they follow the rules and that is why they are not here now.

LOL, there is a short list of top players in the DMV and my daughter is not coming....how did those two starters not follow the rules? Care to say what club this top player in the DMV is coming from?

BSC 08s are the standard? They are 3-2 on a 2 game losing streak lol.

so if they paid and decided to leave, club could decide not to refund them the cost of the season or the club could hold their players card and not release, right? must have been issues if they originally committed and then decided to leave. coaches leave mid year or after committing to following season, players can choose to do the same it situation in theirs minds warrant a change. Not saying it's right way to do it, but not sure how it broke the rules.

Sounds pretty standard to me, remember if you're doing this right and obviously this is contingement on you having a baller on your hands, remember parents we are the consumers. Let the club set the deadlines as they want, I'll commit when I'm ready, I'll pay when I need to Aug/Sept typcially so if need to tryout with teams throughout the spring and make a decision later in June, thats my perrogative as the consumer. There is no club or team in this area (most diluted area in ECNL) so stacked 18-20 players deeep that they can't wait for your kid, got to believe in your spawns appeal in this area and where they fit in with clubs by the time they are 14/15

Yes!! Totally agree. Clubs do NOT turn away talent when it's available.
