They figure out if that hard drive is real yet? It has taken them 6 months. I have an IT guy at my company who I am pretty sure could have solved it in a week

And? Ambassadors are largely figure heads, state dept veterans do most of the heavy lifting (Trump and Pompass helped gut that department and completely demoralize staff). Presidents grant many of them to influencers and supporters. She ran prestigious Penn for years - an no, a board of trustees at such an institution doesn't let people "phone it in" - and her father was German. Her contract was up next year. The board is nothing but ooozing praise for her
