But he polls well on the pandemic though. No national policy like he stumped on. He could never pull it off and he knows it, but the democrat sheep fell for it hook line and sinker. Stalled vaccination progress. Schools saying they will still have a mask mandate next year. Counties like LA county putting mandates in place. Maybe LA county got the 1MM+ welfare recipients Biden has let in at the southern boarder and shipped all over the country, even after testing positive for covid.

He should step down for the good of the party and the country
    Biden took another L today

A federal judge in southern Texas on Friday ordered the Biden administration to stop granting new applications to the Obama-era immigration program that shielded hundreds of thousands of young immigrants from deportation.

Bush-appointed judge, ruled on procedural issues. It's also a temporary halt on applications and is not the final say. The WH will appeal and is pushing Congress to re-write the law permanently (which of course the GOP will block).

uh, maybe they were investigating? The hack was announced in March when it happened and the government pushed MS to quickly release a a software patch to protect companies (which it did).

U.S., allies accuse China of hacking Microsoft and condoning other cyberattacks https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...294_story.html

Problem is NO ONE does anything against China - not our politicians or other nations. The EU did something minor last year, that's it. The US can't solve this problem on their own. Same with Russia or Iran, two other nations with thriving hacking industries

“The lack of any sanctions by the U.S. government against Chinese cyberthreat actors is a huge problem that transcends four administrations,” said Dmitri Alperovitch, chairman of Silverado Policy Accelerator, a think tank. He noted that the European Union, which has lagged the United States in publicly attributing cyberattacks to foreign governments, last year imposed the first cyber sanctions against two Chinese nationals and a Chinese company for a supply-chain hack known as Cloudhopper.

“We need to stop treating China as if they have a special immunity to being held accountable, and we need to act in parity as we have with the other major malicious cyber actors, including Russia,” Alperovitch said

from same story "Separately, the Justice Department on Monday announced indictments against three MSS officers whom the United States has tied to hacking schemes targeting companies, universities and government entities in other countries, allegedly to benefit Chinese research and development work."

lol china became # 1 over literally decades under both parties. Trump's trade sanctions were largely toothless, had lots of loopholes and didn't do much for US industries. Our trade deficit with China actually rose during Trump's four years. It had not impact on China's economy. He tried to "order" US companies to bring production home. Not happening and wouldn't be legal regardless.

the fact that TRUMP Tried to bring production HOME is good enough for me. Perhaps Biden could try a little harder (we know he can't) he is very very good friends with the Chinese Masters.

No, he really didn't try. He did what Trump does best - makes a big announcement and then does nothing.

Biden hid the intelligence that pointed to China until it got out yesterday or the day before. He is afraid of China. He knows he has no chance of success and thus his handlers will brush over anything That even remotely appears punitive to China.

                          Biden is a puss.

Cybersecurity expert Dmitri Alperovitch warns that Beijing’s breach of Microsoft systems, which put hundreds of thousands of businesses and private info at risk, were “much more dangerous than the Russian SolarWinds hacks” last year, yet those triggered US sanctions against Russian culprits. The failure to punish any “PRC-affiliated actors” now looks like “a double standard,” says Alperovitch. “We treat China with kid gloves.”

                          His response.....
“The United States has long been concerned about the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) irresponsible and destabilizing behavior in cyberspace,” it chides. And so “today, the United States and our allies and partners are . . .” — wait for it! — “. . . exposing further details of the PRC’s pattern of malicious cyber activity.”

When bad actors in Russia do something similar, he sanctions them. Now we know it was the Chinese govt and we “expose” them

Microsoft knew it was the Chinese and said such back in March. I’m sure Biden had to know earlier, if not, perhaps it was because the news didn’t get to his basement yet. Even if it was March, why wait 4 months for that weak response?

Biden is trying to build a coalition of EU and other nations to go after er China. The US can't solve this on its own.

Prove that your take ^^^ is correct because it looks like Trump NEVER made an effort to check Chinese hacking, let alone Russian.

So just another example of Joe’s superior performance. Trump didn’t pay attention to this - he was busy trying to steal elections!

The GOP sat on three cyber security bills the Dems proposed. Moscow Mitch is in just as deep in doing nothing.
