A Black Lives Matter leader said there will be “bloodshed” after debating police reform with Mayor-elect Eric Adams during a contentious sit-down with the incoming Democrat at Brooklyn Borough Hall Wednesday.

Although Adams found common ground with the activists on plans to fight poverty in the black community, the former NYPD captain vowed to bring back the Anti-Crime Unit, which was disbanded during widespread police protests last year.

“If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again,” New York BLM co-founder Hawk Newsome said outside Borough Hall. “There will be riots. There will be fire, and there will be bloodshed.”

if the new DA actually believes what he said yesterday, NY wont be livable for the next 20 years- and a lot of body bags are going to get filled
there are only 2 ways to reduce crime, and only 1 of those ways is useful

fight crime like we did in the 90s , with tough sentencing policies
or the woke way
dont consider anything a crime- then you dont need police, because there is no crime
