chicago has the toughest gun laws in the country- how is that working out

semi automatic is not an assault rifle- and we have federal laws against fully automatic weapons

so how does a person protect them self? Police unfortunately are never around when you need them to begin with.
1000s of current police officers all over the US are putting in for early retirement.
As the years go by there will be less and less police officers and new recruits joining the academy. The ones currently working are just trying to get the minimum years in for retirement benefits.

Moral is low and who can blame them? a few bad apples spoiling the bunch.
Police officers are also some of our friends, our neighbors, some volunteer as coaches to our kids in youth sports.

When this sh-t goes from bad to worse....who ya gonna call? Biden?

My con cousin from down south bought himself a semi-auto last summer so he can “feel safe” in case BLM comes to his suburban neighborhood. Asked him where he was going to practice shooting and it was clear that didn’t factor into his buying decision.

most hand guns are semi auto, some shot guns and also a lot of rifles
he can shoot them at almost any range- so practicing is no problem
and if he lives down south there is plenty of land to shoot as well- you can shoot on private land right here in CT as well
