Because if we dont get involve we could see a much worse situation, just imagine if we didn't fund WHO and China was the major contributor , if you think they have manipulated the system now just imagine if China ran it all, by the time we figured this thing out a million Americans would be dead because China would have kept it so deep they'd probably say they have no fatalities and then have the WHO blame the US on it all.

Yes the US assessment should be reevaluated (who knows when it happened last) but the annual assessment is about $115M, not billion, but million(that's the 21%figure). We then pitch in another $200-$300M voluntarily. In total the US accounts for 16% of WHO's total budger. Compared to the waste in the government budget that's a bargain.

Trump hasn't a clue what it would take to motivate and organize all the other nations to start a new health organization, or how long it would take. Fix WHO but not by blowing it up.

Vaccine development and they don’t even have a proof of concept experiment to show their “novel” Technology could successfully lead to ANY vaccine.
