Biden met with protesters and religious leaders yesterday. Trump hid in the WH all weekend. Today in a conference call with governors he berated them for being weak. He's quite the unifier ain't he?

Doesn't matter who the guy was. Their behavior was uncalled for, not just the shove but the callous indifference leaving him there bleeding

The mayor did say this:
"Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown also issued a statement Tuesday morning about the president's tweet.
"The City of Buffalo is focused on healing after several days and nights of calm and constructive meetings and protests about how we take action to achieve racial equity and a good future for our residents and community. We will not be distracted from this urgent work. Our focus on positive change is stronger than ever. My administration remains hopeful that Mr. Gugino will experience a full recovery. And that the officers involved in this incident receive due process under law."

what he really said...
Originally posted by Unregistered View Postso did the mayor of Buffalo, who happens to be black and also a democrat
Brown said state police officers were involved in the arrest of the protester, Myles Carter, last Monday and that the city does not have the ability to take action against them.
“What we were informed of is that that individual was an agitator. He was trying to spark up the crowd of people,” Brown told reporters, according to a recording of his comments reported by radio station WBEN.
“According to what has been reported to me, that individual was a key and major instigator of people engaging in those kinds of activities,” Brown added.
Carter told news outlets Friday that he had his hands in the air with his back to the police when several officers rushed toward him and tackled him to the ground. He was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of governmental administration, WGRZ-TV reported.
Brown's comments came at the same time video showing Martin Gugino, a 75-year-old man, being pushed down by a Buffalo police officer went viral.
Asked if Gugino was one of the protesters who started fights during protests, Brown said he did not know.
This Mayor is a diiiiiki , he was "told" Mayor Brown should get his facts straight instead of assuming, there's also a big difference of instigating and being an actual Antifa protestor, i believe many protesters want some type of chaos if it means blocking traffic, yelling in a cops face but just getting the point out to cause awareness. Not much violence can be caused by a 75 yr old white guy, but then again, Trump has broken that criteria.

Hopefully more Americans finally see how important local elections are. Your state reps, mayors, city council members, sheriffs and judges impact your daily lives much more than your federal representatives. Pay attention to local politics, get involved.

peacefull protest, civil disobedience doesnt involve destruction of property or bodily harm
once a cop tells you to move and you dont it is no longer peaceful it is confrontation by definition
i agree the mayor is a dikkk but that didnt start yesterday, he is cuommos butt boy and has let Buffalo deteriorate- but he wasnt there so the only way he knows anything about this is to be told by someone

The so called "major instigator" has been peacefully protesting in Buffalo for years for many different causes. Hardly "antifa". The mayor didn't even call him Antifa, Trump did because some nut job right winger posted the theory online. Just the fact that Trump listens to some of these guys is cause for concern. It's one thing to "keep your finger on the pulse" and quite another to instantly retweet/repost some of these things without at least even asking your staff/experts about them.
