Folks have really turned on this guy, this is no way compared with Clinton who got a BJ in the Oval office, Clinton's BJ got him re-elected im guessing many men like me chuckled that Monica got him off with a happy ending, Trump on the other hand is just dirty and un trust able.

He's done and just way too much baggage for him to convince the independents or moderate Republicans to vote his way in November, i expect the ghost of the shutdown will be replayed again and again.

She delayed to get this - 70% of all voters want NEW witnesses to be allowed to testify (new survey out today, consistent with others with similar numbers). The delay gave Dems more time to beat the witness drum and more time for additional information to come out. If the GOP wants to prove Trump's innocence then they need to change tactics. If they shove a sham process through the Senate, questions will always remain, nothing really settled. Trump would have a stronger story to tell at his love fests if more Americans think it was a fair process and he was acquitted.

AOC is a loudmouth who has no substantive power. That said, if Dem voters think Bernie was robbed again that is an issue. Some voters may stay home again and that hurts them. Petty bickering among the candidates over purity tests are annoying AF. The Dems are often their own worst enemy.

Literally no one cares about HRC any longer, however it doesn't help the perception of party dysfunction. I actually voted for her, (a bit of pick-your-poison but she was also highly qualified) but am completely turned off by her trying to insert herself back into the conversation + More that came out about Bill and Weinstein. She did have a great interview on Howard Stern last month, came across as much more human. Had she done more things like that she might have tipped the likability scales in her favor. Too late now.

It's all about the CONSTITUTION, something the GOP has set a torch to. There are multiple Senators who voted to impeach Clinton over lying about a BJ. Now they will vote to acquit Trump when he clearly abused the office of POTUS for personal gain. F'ing hypocrites. All they care about is staying power. The Dems had the most to lose - they knew Trump will be acquitted because he has the numbers and the kiss azz GOP. But they took the gamble for the historic record knowing they will take short term blowback for it.

1) house record will AUTOMATICALLY be entered into record (Mitch’s initial gambit didn’t do this)

2) each side now gets three days initially so tv coverage should end during prime time ....
