Comey got hammered- the IG said he was an incompetent executive and a poor leader
But Barr didn’t charge him because the professor didn’t leak the classified info. But this was a very small piece of the investigation. This did validate why he was fired and did show that trump was correct about comets personal intentions clouded his professional judgement

FISA warrants are more strict and come with penalties (because you are spying on US citizens)
all of your info has to be verified and any exculpatory evidence must be provided you attest to that under penalty of law (felony obstruction)

Comey is in Deep doo doo with that, but he also has a testimony problem with congress and andy McCabe ( who has his own set of issues)
