Merry Christmas from Donald Trump

Let me explain it to you slowly. It is ok to negotiate with our enemies. It is not ok to kiss their a**, to take their word over our intelligent services, to tell them you love them and to tell them that they are stronger leaders than the ones leading our country.
First the Republicans went nuts when Obama said he'd meet with Kim and others like him. The republicans went ballistic when Obama shook Castro's and Chavez's hand. That's all he did at the time. Look at what your leader is doing now with these strongmen. Not even a close comparison. You're comparing apples to oranges.
You completely overlook the fact that a meeting is all that Kim wanted so as to establish his legitimacy at home and abroad. He now has it and we can't take it back. But he can easily start launching more missiles. That is the only thing he's given up, considering that he has expanded his weapons program while Trump groveled for a Noble Peace Prize. In case you're confused, let me give you a quote from Good Ole Newt:
“Everywhere in Latin America, enemies of America are going to use the picture of Chavez smiling and meeting with the president as proof that Chavez is now legitimate, that he’s acceptable,” Republican Newt Gingrich, a former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, told NBC’s “Today” show.
Obama and Chavez had two highly public encounters at the summit in Trinidad and Tobago — a handshake, a chat and then later when Chavez gave Obama a book, “The Open Veins of Latin America,” published in 1971 by Uruguayan Eduardo Galeano.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney, in an interview with the Fox News Channel, said Obama’s encounters with both Chavez and Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega were not helpful and “sets the wrong standard.”
