As we know sex crimes are tremendously under reported in general. As a man I completely understand the fear of a false accusation. But if I were to be accused I would welcome the FBI with open arms to try and clear my name. Kavanaugh would not. The GOP would not. That was a massive error on their part.

But there are other conservative judges that would do the same so I think they would let this one go as long as Trump quickly nominated another uber-right judge. Vetted and Voted won’t be done after election if the Dems get control of the Senate.
I maybe wrong but believe the Senate cannot vote on a nomination if they lose control after the election it would have to be before- hence the urgency, One added seat puts Repubs in an awkward situation 2 added seats gives Dems the Majority.
They can try for another nomination which I suggest they dump this guy ASAP in case this thing ties them up thru Middle October by that time it could be too late.
