I love the idea being touted by some Repubs about using lie detectors to ferret out the OP-Ed writer. They, of course, are missing the delicious irony of having the Liar-in-Chief potentially mandating Lie Detector tests....
Here are a few questions for the test.... I am sure you can think of more...

a) Do you think that Donald Trump is a good president?
b) Does Donald Trump lie?
c) Has Donald Trump obstructed justice?
d) Is the NYT failing?
e) Did Donald Trump have sex with that woman?
f) You have released your tax returns, should Donald Trump release his?
g) Were you embarrassed by Donald Trump's kowtowing to Vladimir Putin?

Not that poster but the right needs to make up its minds. They claim they're not racist (and I know certainly not all are) yet they willing to overlook Trump's obvious racist tendencies and refusal to rebuke white supremacists. Party of family values? The fiscally responsible party? Laughable - last two huge tax cuts both GOP led. Bush's got us into financial trouble and Trump's will as well. Christianly? Hardly. It's all about me! Why should I have to pay a hundred dollars more in taxes to make sure poor kids have healthcare and food on their table? Can't afford reliable birth control? Screw you you're on your own. Not all Republicans hate or are racist, and not all Dems are angels. But we know where the bulk of each parties voters lean and the Right is not where I want to be.

Because he doesn’t rebuke strongly the way you want him to doesn’t mean he’s racist. It actually just makes him authentic. He is results driven. If you produce it doesn’t matter your color.

Republicans in general don’t view the president as their moral leader. If the president happens to be extremely they’ll extol him. Evangelist especially don’t view the president as their moral leader. The have someone at a much higher level to take that place. The purpose of government is not to support its people financially. Its purpose is to set the structure where people can prosper. The government should focus on setting this structure and then get out of the way. Liberals like to take others people money to solve everyone’s problems. While most of those problems are self-induced. We are not all equal. We will all never have equal financial outcomes. You can go as far or as short as you want financially. It’s all up to your choice on how hard you want to work (or how little), but it’s not the purpose of government to support people that don’t want to struggle. Struggling is a good thing. Builds character. If you are poor and want to make it you can. You can figure out a way. But it’s not the government’s job to make it easy for everyone. Sure some people are disadvantaged for reasons out of their control (say severe illness) and we can as a society help them but we are way too generous already. Health care is not a right. Birth control is not a right. Getting unexpectedly pregnant is not a right. Decisions have consequences. These issue again are not the purpose of government.

What Liberals fail to understand is that their ideas of social engineering like the " war on poverty " hasn't changed the percentage in poverty, it has just made those in poverty more comfortable at the expense of taxpayers.
