But in actuality Rasmussen was one of the more accurate polls in the 2016 election. They favored Hilary by 2% which is about the margin that she won the popular vote.

Also important to note that Rasmussen is the only poll above tracking Likely Voters (LV). Other are tracking Registered Voters (RV) (less accurate) and Adults (least accurate). Likely voter polls are the most accurate and all the pollsters above will switch to Likely voters when it comes closer to election time. It's just more costly or time consuming for them to do that now.

Why don't you explain who the MSM is and who it is not? I'm frankly tired of this label being applied to any entity that offers criticism of the President.

So who exactly is the MSM and which media organizations are not part of the MSM?

The 2009 Recovery Act helped keep nearly 9 million out of poverty, a poverty made worse by the Bush administration's recession Obama inherited https://www.cbpp.org/blog/obamas-and...ty-achievement

Obama tried to raise the minimum wage but was cockblocked by the GOP Congress https://www.theguardian.com/business...cans-tom-perez

          Meanwhile under Trump

The US has been blasted for its levels of poverty but the Trump administration was trying to mislead the public on the data https://foreignpolicy.com/2018/08/02...ic-on-poverty/

Trump wants to get ride of subsidies that help poorer Americans afford health insurance:https://www.npr.org/2017/10/13/55753...w-to-obamacare

Trump and the GOP Congress want to lower and eliminate safety net programs like SNAP CHIP and others, declaring the war on poverty is over (it's not, not even close) https://www.bostonglobe.com/opinion/...6XJ/story.html

When he was running he said he wanted to raise the MW to $10.10/hour but has yet to propose any such legislation. Instead claims that companies are "voluntarily" raising it. And yes some are. But many are not. Real wage growth has remained flat under Trump, even after the tax cut (which makes sense since it was for the wealthy). Just today:

"Friday’s jobs report showed unemployment at 3.9 percent, an 18-year low. But even with historic lows, worker’s pay has only increased by 2.7 percent since last year. With inflation hovering around 2 percent, that’s an adjusted 0.7 percent growth in earnings. An income earner would have to bring in more than $570,000 to see that promised $4,000 increase in wages. Instead, the average worker is seeing a weekly pay raise of just $16.42. https://www.newsweek.com/trump-tax-p...growth-1056660

My weekly pay has not increased 1 cent since the new tax cut went into effect. But the prices of food at the grocery store keep climbing.

and we are talking about extreme poverty- thats why i asked for the definition because there is Somalia extreme poverty and there is switzerland extreme poverty very different things
and again poverty in America isnt the same as poverty in Somalia

            This isn't Somalia.

This is America. I care about the Americans in poverty.

Comparing poverty between nations is the same thing as moral equivalency. It is meant to obscure the issue with cloud and fog.

Just wait until April when people in high tax states get hit because they can't take as large a mortgage and SALT deductions as they used. Convenient how that the states that will get hit the hardest are Blue.

check your withholding - you may get screwed next year

However, the General Accounting Office (GAO) is warning that, unless taxpayers act to adjust their withholding, more than thirty million taxpayers will owe taxes next year, an increase from last year

                  But that's the thing.

In her mind, she believes she is contributing to the fabric that is America too. She believes that what she does moves us forward as a nation towards the ideal that she sees as our goal.

                  You see otherwise.

And that is what America is all about and what makes it great. She should make restitution for any damage she created and costs she forced onto the city or federal government, but she should also continue to advocate for what she believes in.

                      I could live with that
Make her pay all the costs associated with her stunt don't clean her record
                      That would be fine

Maybe you should get a new job. In a tight labor market, you should be able to find a higher paying job, unless you really don’t have a transferable skill. Stop waiting for the government to give you money...start thinking about how you can ommand more money.

Chances are she is on welfare, so the govt would just be getting back what they give her. She doesn’t sound very educated.

He should learn to respect the Constitution. He can leave if he doesn't like it.
