Typical repug response. Party of family values lol. You all were supposedly incensed by BC getting a blow job but when your idol does it it's forgivable

The honor with which McCain served in the military does not make up for the dishonourable way McCain served in public office and the way he flushed the needs of the American people and sold out. Sad to say, but only now, at the end and facing his maker, does he even consider what is best for our nation. The damage McCain did to his own soul he did himself, deliberately.

Here's the thing, we won the Presidency. We own both houses. We own the judiciary. We don't have to practice what we preach, we never have, and our voters are good with that. Our voters are, in fact, so good with things that they vote against their own healthcare, they vote for tax cuts for billionaires while getting no relief for their income in the trailer parks, and they vote against environmental regulations that would protect their drinking water. That is, it is not what we do that is important, it is what we say you should do, and that's a winning position.

Yup... The committed 200+ years he and his family have given with their lives to the Military along with the public service to the Nation is nothing compared to his Vicious and mostly Nasty Political beliefs. Trump should crash the funeral the day the ol geezer keels over, strip him of his medals and spit on him in his coffin while it’s being lowered at Arlington.....
McCain has SHAMED our young people who look at his past of being a Prisoner of war as a sign of weakness.
Our young Men & Women should be taught in finding better ways of dodging the Military and all the selfish things it brings. Thank God we have a new President that has the experience and wisdom of how not to be like a McCain or a Pat Tillerson.

            MAGA.

And, the only positives you have are in regards to McCain's military service. As a politician, McCain sold out, and you know it.

It's Presidential Twitter official: we don't like the soldiers who get captured. #MAGA

In McCain's generation, things were different. He probably got impressed by the armed services against his will at a young age and was offered nothing than a hard life and meager pay to go fight wars for rich elite guys. Back then, there was no choice; you had to join the military or buy your way out.
Let me correct this. I’m quite sure you or anyone in your family are members of any our 5 Military Branch’s
John McCain wanted to follow his father and Grandfathers footsteps of being a Navy Admiral it was his dream to Captain/Lead is own squadron or fleet just as they did, something like the portrayal of Lieutenant Dan in Forest Gump. I do agree that most had no choice Unless you were a Donald Trump.
After Vietnam the country’s support for war was at its lowest ever , commercials on TV and the recruiters were throwing promises of cash and college incentives as the only way to get our Nations abandoning of the Military back on track.
But Since 2001 everything changed. Most Recruits are college educated or pursing a degree without any financial reward or Bonuses ad there was very little to be given and still is. You may find it hard to believe but in 2015 the Navy saw its highest percentage ever with new recruits that were already college educated. The Army saw its highest in 2012. Many serving come from the well to do who are financially stable but believing its more honorable to serve than anything else.
Participants enjoy a network of being in the minority of the most respected Men & Women in the world - It’s second to none- No CEO job can compare being an Airman , Seaman or Infantrymen it’s a proud accomplishment that today no recruiter will offer no such cash incentive but instead offer a bigger Trophy by asking you “ Are you ready for the physical and mental challenge, are you ready to gain respect and honor your country” Once those words are uttered , not one kid will say no, and those that would , will never show up at s Recruiting office.

We are a militaristic, empire-building society whose economy would stall if we didn't keep bombing other countries. Of course college kids are going to the military, because our economy is so poor that outside of Walmart, there's no good employment any more. Regardless, when you sign up, you agree to take risks including harm and death in return for specific compensation. So, you should be unsurprised if you actually suffer harm. The good news is that because you were poor and had to enlist to go kill people, the military-industrial complex gets to sell us 50 more cruise missiles and an aircraft carrier. Well done.

There is some truth to the above , but the statement " most recruits are college educated or pursing a degree..." is false.
A High percentage of Officers are College educated, but not recruits. That figure is somewhere in the 11=15 % range according to the data. That includes all branches of service.

I’m telling you what I know from being in the circle not some googled information. Googling those facts would not be found as it’s prived for your eyes only.
You are looking at Academy status of becoming an Officer... but yes I’ll agree that “ Most” would be too much but far from the range accordingly.

There have been studies that have the information, and you have to dig for it. The last range was 11- 15 % in 2008, which is the last date information was available. I doubt , as you concur, that it is over 51 % today which would be " most "

91 % of Service recruits are High School graduates , compared to around 76 % in the general population.

Clearly, the people of Arizona see this far differently than you do.

How many times have they re-elected him to office?

You can pontificate about politicians all you want, but the only ones you have any say about are those you have the right to vote for in your state.

Arizonans liked what they saw from McCain for many years. You may not, but they did, and in the case of his service in public office, only their opinion really matters.

Unless you live in Arizona, you are just spewing hot air here.

I have no use for Sheriff Joe at all.
