Also independent with Republican dad. This is no longer his party. He could not vote for DT. Maybe first time ever he could not back Republican candidate.

I am not his " base". I am an Independent that can see things very clearly.

Progressives have their own narrative .
" collusion" not even a crime
" meddling" moving towards " interference " now
        " attack on our Democracy " , like 10 million illegals isn't.
" Global warming" became " Climate Change " after Al Gore's predictions hit the skids.
The State of CT is tumbling down a hill of financial disaster cliff and Governor Malloy is still a believer in Climate Change. Some nonsense about the Sound rising out there today. Spend some more millions.
Another FUKTART pretending to be on the fence..., see what im staying about you Trumpsters you're so embarrassed about Trumpt among other people you try being someone else while trying to sell Trumpism, Get outta here you scum weasel bag

Why do you even bother to post that?

Even many who did vote for him now regret it. I've got several die hard Republican friends and family who are just shaking their heads and where things have gone. They might not even buy into the Russia story but are so utterly disappointed in his legislative performance and personal embarrassments. Given how close the race was (and he really only won because of the EC in 3 states) it won't take much to get him out. People are fed up with Congress too. 2018 and 2020 will be a sea change for both parties. Now if we could get some other parties and meaningful campaign finance reform also we might actually start to resemble a democracy again.

The GOP has the redneck market all sewn up. You're proof of it. The Dems are no longer the party of the rural south, haven't been for a long time. Wake up Rumplestiltskin.

True, the Coastal Elites now. Sit in front of a conference where they spout about 'income inequality' while getting paid $200k to teach a class.

                    Nope, no hypocrisy there.

Just one cast of Trumpers standing up for his former boss attached... others that Frequent CNN almost daily and being paid contributors are the following- Don Bongino, Scottie Hughes, Caputa , Larry Elders, Ben Carson(Not the Dr but The white guy) and many many more every day nightly along with many Republican lawmakers, but you wouldn't know that because your head is jammed up your Azzz watching Fox all day wont tell you jack because any Liberal speaker gets cut off when its something the host dont agree with. Im sure you FukTarts watch Outnumbered with those 4-5 bittttchies and one Republican male oh what fun it is as they cros those legs for all to see....shiny object over here.

Field a different Dem candidate against a very weak DJT and it's a legit azz-kicking in the other direction. More likely he'll bow out before 2020 just to avoid the embarrassment. His ego is too enormous to handle the hit

Does he have any interest in this job? He can't wait to get out.

It's also the party of women, the young and well educated, and minorities. Shifting US demographics that favor the Dems, not the GOP.

Thats' why he'll grab the first decent excuse he can find (I'm guessing a "health crisis" or desire to return to running the family empire, claiming he accomplished all he wanted to accomplish, or the good old corporate-firing story of "wants to spend more time with family"). He never wanted the job, he just wanted to win.
