I find nothing wrong with merit based immigration. What a NYT reporter says Trump said is a whole different question but I wouldn't put that language past him. There is nothing wrong with limiting immigration from poor countries.

But honestly what have they done in return for this country, they basically do for themselves or for their homelands. How many of them are Firefighters, Police & Military servers.

I work for a small manufacturing company - we have a lot of immigrants doing all kinds of work that some white applicants think is beneath them. They're highly skilled at what they do and work their tails off. The Mrs. won't even hire a US housecleaner - pays cash under the table for the hard working Brazilians lol
