Quite frankly, that is all his generation is good at doing. Yes he was the first African American president, but during his two terms, African American civil rights did not improve, nor did African American poverty gap close, nor did the unemployment gap close, nor did thier graduation rates improve.

Women made little progress under obama. They lived in fear of predators like Cosby, Weinstein, et al. The glass ceiling lowered on them. Less women went into stem and computer programming, assuring them of another decade of missed occupational opportunity in the highest growing sectors.

Last but not least, the immigrant president did nothing for immigrants to the us. Everything he did was temporary. He would not dedicate himself to the cause and risk political capital. That is why the dreamers face thier current predicament. That is why those displaced by natural disasters and political oppression during his terms are facing the fact that they are being sent back to their sheet hole countries.

No, it wasn’t coincidental. The parkland freaks had an impact. Publix gave 118k over a 13 year period directly to Putnam. I hardly consider that a major accomplishment. Where in the world will Putnam get that 9k a year now that Publix won’t be providing it for the next decade.
