You really need to ensure posts like this get the #sarcasm tag. Because, surely, you can't be serious.

No sarcasm ...when was the last time a true Conservative supported a Dem leader to succeed? but yet Ronald Reason had many Dems with him even though he was in charge of the most corrupt administration ever.

Oliver North defending him with Iran Contra and pulling out of Beirut right after the biggest onslaught of Americans since WW2 (250) DEAD AMERICAN SOLDIERS and what did he do to divert ? two days later celebrate a win invasion of Grenada like we had just took over Russia.

What an Arse of a man, but yet we.. even me voted for is slimy arse to support my country. I knew it was wrong but my country comes first over my party of Democrats .

I would think he knows that ...and he wont do it ...Bannon was right.. firing FBI Jimmy Boy was stupid, Maybe Jiimmy boy was smart after all in that he started this whole special counsel by his actions.
Trump tried to cover the hole for the Groundhog but as you know Groundhogs always have another way out.

I would also argue that the current president is a bigger threat to our democracy by criticizing the free press (just because he doesn't like what they say about him) and trash talking our judicial system and police agencies any time he can. He is undermining it all on his own with a little help from Miller, Bannon et al
Agree Agree Agree..We see it, but those Blind Sheep with the Paper Bags dont> Martha Stewart, Michael Milken , Ivan Boesky none were Mafiosa's...plus the countless others were all investigated for one thing but charged for something else,
what those sheepbags/sleepbags dont know is State and Federal power of Investigations are like night and day.

While state charges only go so far, Federal is worldwide without a state Judge acknowledgement basically from another state you did business in. Trump only has the power to Pardon his most trusted friends with a Federal charge but the feds will and can leave charges out for a State level charge and come back later with it..
So if Manafort, Flynn and any other of these guys think they have a "TRUMP GET OUTTA JAIL CARD" they may want to think again.
The feds maybe holding out on a "wait and see what Trump will do" and if i was any of those guys id be sided big time with the feds...Trump will disavow once the Kitchen get waaay to hot ...just like Sloppy Bannon ...hes quick to throw you under the bus even "WHEN YOU TELL THE TRUTH".

So much speculation. Par for the course.

I will be the first to call the man guilty if evidence is shown to demonstrate " collusion" with the Russians that got him elected. Real evidence. Not by " sources" or books that are tabloid entertainment, conclusions etc.
Real evidence. By real people that will sit on a witness stand under Oath.

Let's see if Trump Christmas Present to America stacks up against this .
Has Nancy and Chuck seen this ? I thought the Dems were the party of the middle class?
              What happened ?

The Obama presidency was a disaster for middle-class wealth in the United States. Between 2007 and 2016, the average wealth of the bottom 99 percent dropped by $4,500. Over the same period, the average wealth of the top 1 percent rose by $4.9 million.

This drop hit the housing wealth of African Americans particularly hard. Outside of home equity, black wealth recovered its 2007 level by 2016. But average black home equity was still $16,700 lower.

Much of this decline, we will argue, can be laid at the feet of President Obama. His housing policies led directly to millions of families losing their homes. What’s more, Obama had the power — money, legislative tools, and legal leverage — to sharply ameliorate the foreclosure crisis.

He chose not to use it.

All true, but your point was that Dems are supporting this current President. That could not be further from the truth. While I'm sure it's out there...I can't think of a single thing said or done to support him. I mean...they are looking to impeach him for being an a-hole.

IT is impossible to say with any certainty what the precise effects of a sensible housing policy would have been. But it unquestionably would have prevented a huge fraction of the wealth destruction . The overall housing crash would have passed much sooner — even in 2016 the rate of foreclosure was higher than it was in 2005.

No political obstacle stood between President Obama and a better housing policy. On the contrary, his heavily bank-slanted policy cost the Democrats dearly: mass foreclosure, and the associated economic wreckage, is a large part of why his party was crushed in the 2010 midterms.

Because African Americans were disproportionately victimized at all levels of the housing and foreclosure crises, they stood to gain the most from better policy. But because Obama’s approach failed cataclysmically, the first black president in American history turned out to be a disaster for black wealth.

Check your history. A-holes are at risk of impeachment.

Different poster - I was disgusted by the GOP during the Obama years. As soon as he was elected it all became about stonewalling him, not getting things done. They behaved like children, better "mean girls." Now they cow tow to Trump because it suits their needs. I used to be fiscally conservative/socially liberal and have always voted independently based on issues. But right now I see very few Republicans I could muster a vote for, and in CT our reps are Dems anyway. There's plenty of Dems out there that are bad - both parties need a major shakeup. I definitely wasn't a HRC fan but she definitely was the lesser of two evils. It seems there are many voters like me who are so fed up with "politics as usual" and didn't vote in 2016.

Boycotting an election is one strategy i suppose but one of the clowns will gain power whether you participate or not so why not hold your nose and pick one?

No, a-holes are just that. A-holes. You can't impeach someone for being a dick.

Yes, they do. Because the awards of damages were deposited into a " slush fund " and distributed to those that weren't the victims. Groups like LaRaza.

Imagine if the president of the United States forced America’s biggest banks to funnel hundreds of millions—and potentially billions—of dollars to the corporations and lobbyists who supported his agenda, all while calling it “Main Street Relief.” The public outcry would rightly be deafening. Yet the Obama administration has used a similar strategy to enrich its political allies, advance leftist pet projects, and protect its legacy—and hardly anyone has noticed.

Now the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is launching its own scheme to cut Democrat activist groups in on its own multimillion-dollar settlements.

Obama's Department of Housing and Urban Development is also getting in on the act.

In a $200 million settlement with Associated Bank, which the agency accused of lending discrimination, HUD is forcing the Wisconsin bank to funnel tens of millions in "donations" to "community groups."

This is extortion of private business by government. Congress' new leadership must call on the agency's inspector general and the Government Accountability Office to audit these pernicious payola schemes.
