Both Penn and Harvard have said exactly that - that it played no role.
Ivys are great for trying to push diversity in hiring and acceptance for undergrads. they push that narrative when soliciting for their endowment ( non Taxed ) so they may have to hit certain numbers for the feds as well to keep everything in check
either way she told an untruth to her employer (CAUSE)
the only thing we can be certain about is that a minority DID NOT get that position

Story went her parents eloped because of her mother's supposed heritage. I bet they eloped because she was preggo. Families make up stories all the time. She has said there was no tribe enrollment which is what is needed for almost all tribes (turns out proving NA heritage isn't so easy https://www.theroot.com/how-do-i-leg...try-1790877932)
Did it influence her getting a job?
"A directory of law professors listed Warren as a minority from 1986 to 1995, just before she joined Harvard Law School. When the claim emerged as a flash point in her 2012 Senate race, Charles Fried, a Harvard Law School professor who recruited her, said her ethnic status had nothing to do with how she got the job. “That’s totally stupid, ignorant, uninformed and simply wrong,” he told the Associated Press at the time. “I presented her case to the faculty. I did not mention her Native American connection because I did not know about it.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...=.72de05e57423
She's a bit shrill but I like the work she has done on consumer protection. Big banks, predator debt collectors, rip-off artist financial advisors....calling them out is all good. The rest of her is hard to take. She's not electable for anything higher than Senator and she knows it. DJT can't stop obsessing about her.

His performance in PA over the weekend was more of a bad standup comedy desperate for applause. I will lmao if the guy he was stumping for loses Trump stumping for you has become poison and will be a big deal in November midterms Scott Walker is warning the GOP
President Trump has been privately attacking the GOP candidate in the Pennsylvania House special election, Axios reported Sunday. Trump has slammed Republican Rick Saccone as a bad and “weak” candidate, four sources told the news outlet. http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign...as-weak-report
"Not long ago, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was the voice of a conservative revolution in the heartland, a Republican at the vanguard and a possible future president. Today, he's the voice of concern, warning his party — at home and nationally — that change is coming again.
In private meetings, public forums and his own policy moves, Walker has made clear he sees worrisome signs for the GOP and the hard-line conservatism that's marked his eight years in office. Wisconsin, which helped hand the White House to Republicans, is looking for something different, Walker has said, and Democrats are motivated.
A recent local election should be a "wake-up call" to the changes afoot in the rural and exurban pockets that 17 months ago voted enthusiastically for President Donald Trump, he recently told a group of GOP donors and activists.
Walker is acting on his own advice. As he seeks a third term in office, he's embraced a bipartisan tone and a strikingly moderate set of policy proposals. The man who eight years ago set out to dismantle public employee unions is now backing efforts that mirror aspects of former President Barack Obama's health care law and describing his policy differences with Democrats as modest.
"We heard from people across the state. These aren't Republican or Democrat issues. These are things people care about in Wisconsin," Walker told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "As a Republican, I might have a slightly different angle about how to address it. But these are (about) just me listening to people across the state."
