“Here’s the problem: Farrakhan does have an audience and still has widespread popularity among his devoted followers,” Jonathan Greenblatt, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, wrote in a blog published on Thursday. “Because of Farrakhan’s reach and influence and his broad name recognition and something like celebrity status, some public officials, politicians and hip-hop entertainers are still willing to meet with him, still willing to have their pictures taken with him.

"They seemingly have a blind spot when it comes to his anti-Semitism,” he added.
Which Democrat members of Congress support Farrakhan?

What exactly what the vote outcome on the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and how many in each party voted for it?

how about housing projects, the criminal justice system changes

What exactly is the relevance of your first question?

Do you think the black community in America was in better position to advance their people before welfare reform? If so, exactly how were they better off then?

What about housing projects and the criminal justice system? We have them, right?

            Hahaha...

Louis Farrakhan appears to be backing Donald Trump.

Farrakhan calls all the other politicians political prostitutes that sell out America.

Farrakhan is the first prominent Muslim to back Donald Trump who called on a temporary Muslim ban.

Farrakhan says since America created many of the wars in the Muslim World that the hate is becoming real.

Louis says it would be better if people were more carefully vetted to not bring people to America who could destroy it.

Does it not say "some" instead of "all"? Are you implying that he has the ongoing support of the majority of the progressive and/or liberal view? Or are you merely projecting "all" in an attempt to exaggerate your point?

California Reps. Maxine Waters and Barbara Lee, Illinois Rep. Danny Davis, Indiana Rep. Andre Carson, Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, New York Rep. Gregory Meeks and Texas Rep. Al Green have all attended meetings with Farrakhan while in Congress,

Rep. Keith Ellison, deputy director of the Democratic National Committee, has said that at he saw the Nation of Islam as an organization that did positive things, like “promote African-American self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and community economic development.”

Rep. Danny Davis, a Democrat from Illinois, said that Farrakhan is an “outstanding human being,” and that he sees the minister on a regular basis.

Of course, there was the other senator from Illinois who went onto greater things a few years back who was known to chum around with him, and even has a pretty neat picture taken with them.

Even Jake Tapper called them all out...

"The difference between Farrakhan and some members of the alt-reich whose heinous bigotry has received a lot of attention this past year: Farrakhan has a much larger following and elected officials meet with him openly."

Hey, if everyone who didn't vote for Hillary is a racist, sexist pig, then those are the rules that we now must play with.

I could be wrong, but where is it stated a member of the government will, or will not, vote for someone based strictly on their color?

We have the FFLOTUS staying any women who didn't vote for Hillary is an idiot.

And where has it been determined that everyone who didn't vote for Hillary Clinton is a "racist, sexist pig"? Has that been factually proven some place? Or are you conveniently using an extra wide paint brush here to generalize the opinions of those who might not agree with you in order to make your point?'

Wouldn't it be nice if you could actually speak to the issue without all the hyperbole and vitriol?

Sadly, that ship has sailed. If you want to see where it was determined, go back and read through this thread. We are deranged, racists fuktards. Southern rednecks. Retards. You name it, it's been thrown down. I learned it all right here.

A lot of people didn't vote for HRC or anyone else for that matter. Low voter turnout had an impact, as did the anti HRC vote. She was a highly flawed candidate and some voted from Trump, Stein, Gary Whats His Face just because they were't HRC. Many republicans were equally turned off by Trump. I think a lot of people learned a painful lesson from their flawed thinking.

I think "Deplorables" summed it up nicely, thanks.

                              Exhibit 'A'

So don't go whining now about "Wouldn't it be nice if you could actually speak to the issue without all the hyperbole and vitriol?"

"During an impassioned speech to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, an organisation that carries out research on issues affecting African-Americans, Mr Obama said it would be an 'insult to his legacy' if the black community voted for Donald Trump — or refrained from voting at all — in the upcoming election."
