More science teachers please, less military style weaponry. thanks anyway NRA.
Maybe you'll believe your own Snowflake news source. NRA power is not donations nor manufacturers backing, its members are the source of power which are strong 2nd amendment advocates.

I would like to take money away from the the assault weapons business just like I want to put tobacco out of business.

Lessons are learned , the economy changes. Someone will lose and someone will gain. My job is to fight for my kid's life to change for the better along with millions of other parents. The gun business may suffer. My responsibility as a parent is my kid, not the assault file business.

Yes, anf it's time for the fascists to stop interpreting the 2nd amendment for everyone else. The tide is finally turning, there's been enough blood shed just so fascists can keep their security blanket/guns.

              Ban the NRA!

The gun extremists are holding the rest of us hostage - that includes sensible gun owners and non gun owners, who make up the vast majority of Americans. The NRA may be very good at lobbying and rallying their troops but we outnumber them. Everyone needs to use their voice and tell politicians what they want.

At a minimum take away their non profit status. They're a lobbying group at this point, miles away from their original mission when they started decades ago. LaPierre's speech was so vile and it's sole purpose was stir up fear and emotion. For him to be rallying against the so-called elites (when he makes millions!) and claiming the Dems are anti-law and order and anti FBI (when the president and the GOP vilify he FBI every day)? File that under the growing list of "you can't make this sh*t up."

                    NRA won't budge

erson Dana Loesch became combative on Sunday when she was asked if her group would back a ban on devices that effectively convert semi-automatic weapons into automatic weapons.

During an interview on ABC News, host George Stephanopoulos asked Loesch if the NRA would support President Donald Trump’s call to set an age limit of 21 on the sale of semi-automatic weapons.

“The NRA has made their position incredibly clear,” Loesch said.

“That’s a no,” Stephanopoulos pointed out.

“People are trying to find daylight between President Trump and 5 million law-abiding gun owners all across the United States,” Loesch said. “These are things he’s discussing… nothing has been proposed yet.

“The position is you do not want to raise the age,” the ABC host pressed.

“That’s what the NRA came out and said,” Loesch admitted.

When it came to banning so-called bump stocks, which effectively make semi-automatic rifles into fully-automatic rifles, Loesch said that it was also a non-starter.

“The NRA already made it clear the ATF needs to do their job,” the NRA spokesperson opined. “They need to make sure their definitions are consistent.”

“The ATF says they don’t have the authority right now to ban bump stocks,” Stephanopoulos explained. “The president has said he wants those to be banned. Will the NRA back that?”

“The NRA doesn’t back any ban,” Loesch replied. “The NRA has asked the ATF to do its job and make sure that these classifications are consistent.”

When she was asked about banning all military-style assault weapons, Loesch became enraged.

“This is really a discussion about banning all semi-automatic firearms,” she complained. “And I wish that we could be guinuine in our discussion about that. That’s the position on AR-15s. And AR-15s are going to be in that school protecting students and teachers when they return back to class.”

“We are the only country that has wide access to these kinds of weapons and no one else has the frequency or the intensity of mass shootings that we do,” Stephanopoulos charged.

“That’s actually not true,” Loesch stated incorrectly.

Oh hell no. I worked in Israel for awhile where it's commonplace to see guns and military personnel everywhere (and everyone has mandatory military training and knows w t f they're doing). But you never get used to it (maybe Israelis do but I never did). You're walking down the sidewalk and see hardware it takes your breath away for a minute. Kids do not need to see weapons in their school. Yes absolutely they need to feel safe but seeing guns will have the opposite effect.

So what exactly is your position?

The fundamentals of the 2nd Amendment are as Antiquated as the Horse and Buggy.
Wake up this is 2018. The British are not coming and there’s no Tyranny in our Govt.

I want to enact gun laws and regulations similar to those in Germany.

Then move to Germany. Germany doesn't have an equivalent right of the people to bear arms in it's constitution.

Let's put aside your foolish statement. What you're asking for is not practical. It will never happen especially in this political climate, nor even in a situation where the Dems have a super majority, house, senate, white house. Majority of Americans support the 2nd amendment.
