Anyway, the points the same. If these "pencils" you speak of are such efficient weapons, or cars, or butter knives, then our troops would have those.

And in what way is a bump stock even legal? It's actual marketed purpose is to make your weapon automatic. Somebody needs to get sued out of existence for that.
    loophole-
but you wont get an argument from me on that

      Hmmmmm......

Weren't the Clintons torched for the same kind of thing when Hillary was Secretary of State?

Didn't the Trumps raise criticism on such behavior?

Bump stocks are marketed as a way to mimic fully automatic. They don’t make guns automatic as they use the recoil.

You need to be careful because the other side will parse words and use them against you

Yes bump sticks are a modification that will be made illegal in some states

Isn't your response generally what is known as a "straw man" argument?
im not so sure we have a basic value system anymore- i see that as the root of the problem

Not a straw man, you actually emphasized my point in your response. We have a well established Constitution, as you said, that includes a second amendment for the purpose of defending ourselves from getting into situations like those other countries where their governments have gone rouge. That’s the vision our founding fathers had.

No. That's the opposite of the vision our founding fathers had. Our founding fathers wanted well regulated militia, regulated by state government, not a bunch of whack-job residents with sidearms. They feared an armed populace.

I am not sure what that means? How about Canada. Are their basic values system intact

no they feared an overreaching govt- they were the well armed populace 12 years earlier and won their freedom because they had weapons
                    and the SCOTUS agrees

I don’t think based on your response that you are an advocate. My only point is be educated and choose words carefully because they can be used against you

Country gone crazy , Trump made folks mad. Worse President ever .

Would have never saw this before I voted, made a choice and gave Trump a chance but boy o boy do I regret it. I’m in awe and disgust that the guy has bellitled, scorned and pissed on every American known to man but yet the one line he’s not crossed is the Russian one.
Can’t figure why but I’m starting to think he’s got something big in that closet he doesn’t want us to know.

                          God Bless the Union.

You need to read more history.

And the scotus only agreed with that on, what, 2008? A Republican SCOTUS bought and paid for and accustomed to free multi-thousand dollar vacations and gifts from NRA and similar lobbyists. Look at SCOTUS precedent before that.
