I say send the busses to the Hamptons and the Vineyard , and especially the front Gates of the Obama enclave built on ground just above sea level. You missed a critical piece - starting in 2026 Medicare drug copays will be capped at $2000. That is HUGE for seniors, massive, and no future bill can take that away. Very little the government does gets done right away and compromises have to be made. Of that, it is projected that upwards of 3 million will exceed the catastrophic level of the ceiling amount that exists. While drug price increases certainly contribute to higher costs , so do advancements with new drugs available, which costs R & D to develop. In addition the ACA changed the maximum percentage responsibility , increasing the cost to the taxpayer substantially. One also needs to mention that the rising cost of Inflation and cost of living, just over the first two years of the Biden Regime will force more seniors into the lower income area of Medicare strata, in which their entire drug payment obligations may have to be covered by the Government, which is the taxpayers responsibility.Originally posted by Guest View Post

Yes you pay more in taxes but in return you get medical care, childcare, free or super cheap college, a pension you can actually live on.
