Biden made an idiot out of himself saying if he could do one thing, it would be to allow people to Sue gun manufacturers. Saying if God granted him one thing that is what it would be. Not world peace, not a solution at the southern border, not equal rights, allowing people to sue gun manufacturers. How about we let people sue him for using weapons of destruction and drones when he kills civilians as collateral damage.
His own kid couldn’t even store his gun responsibly. Had to have law enforcement get involved and help him sweep it under the rug. A guy who as he says in his book combed through carpets to find crack and who admits he probably smoked parmigiana cheese by mistake during his drug binging days. he shouldn’t even be allowed to own a gun. He admitted to not even remembering the encounter that led to him having a bastard child, he has proven he can’t be responsible.

Imagine if I got hit by a car and I could sue the dealership and Ford. They know that cars cause deaths every year. So they should pay if I get hit by one and die. Same with Apple. People are known to die because they are distracted by their phones. Apple knows this. They should be held liable. Knife makers and razor makers too.

You can absolutely sue a gun manufacturer. You can sue anyone at any time for any reason...this is still AMERICA (the land of lawsuits) and you are welcome to try anything.

most gun crimes arent committed by people who legally purchase- those are the people who would have the insurance
you want to keep making laws that only affect the people most likely to not break the laws
those arent the people who are running around shooting other people

As another said, get caught with unregistered and uninsured guns and your penalties just went way up, legal and financial. It won't be possible to avoid all criminal activity but such actions would help regulate much of the market. It would also make it national. Local gun regulations are useless if you can just drive somewhere else to get one

States have pools of insurance for uninsured motorists. Same principle with guns. I like the poster's idea that you get a big discount if you take classes.

No, I think the answer instead is if you are interested in purchasing a gun. you must be at the very least become analyzed by an unbiased psychologist to make sure you are "balanced". Then perhaps you can proceed with the safety courses and any other paper work.

However, this still does nothing to stop ms13 and other gangs from poping a cap in your @ss.
