The many teachers I know (family and friends) can't stand how useless teachers are protected by the union. Problem teachers aren't that large in number but they're kept on the job far too long and tie up district resources while teachers fight their terminations.

45 went a year and a half without speaking to the Speaker of the House for well over a year. From Oct 19, 2019 min was until the end of the term. The Republic survived just fine and cons did not complain that 45 wasn’t talking to #3.

What is very pleasing is the Team D will no longer unilaterally chase cons to ends of earth just because .....bipartisanship. Never chase those playing hard to get. Waste of time.

Dems should offer the cons ability to target infrastructure spending in their states IF they offer some bipartisan support. If they don’t I’m sure there are some Dems who would be happy to decide what SC needs, for example, better than Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott.
