I tell them that since all law enforcement has been unable collectively to arrest a single Antifa member, locate a single Antifa “cell,” or otherwise demonstrate that Antifa exists as an actual organization, we are left with only two possibilities.

Either Antifa has flummoxed the FBI, DHS, state and local law enforcement etc, presumably because they are soooo much smarter than all those agencies

OR

Antifa doesn’t exist as an organization.

I then ask them what conclusion they prefer and I will respect their choice. Or I ask to give me another explanation.

Ayers was an anti-Vietnam war activist. There were many of them. None tried to overthrow the government or the will of the people. Not so for the Trumpsurrectionists. On the day Trump's loss was going to be officially certified Trump planned a rally and a march on the Capitol. After encouraging his followers to fight and having Rudy get up there and say let's have trial by combat, his cult followers did just that. While it was happening Rudy called his senator friends and asked that they stall as long as possible into the next day so the vote couldn't be certified. Anything this joker brings up about insurrections won't come close to Trump's attempted coup.

And here is something I found about Ayers:

I only have one right wingnut job in the family ... my older brother... who thought RUMP was a revolutionary breath of fresh air (until he lost his job, health care etc. and very slowly got clinically depressed)... still thinks the election was stolen, Obama wasn't born in the USA, and that RUMP can do no wrong....
