If it is so great, how do you explain the ever growing inequality of wealth distribution since 1989? The 35 year old boomers in 1989 held 21% of the wealth. The 35 year old Gen Xers in 2008 held just 12% of the nation's wealth. The 35 year old Millennial happens in 2023 and right now they hold just 3% of the nation's wealth.

If it is so great, then where is the push for real wage growth? The vast majority of monies saved in the Trump tax cut went to the 1% and corporations, which chose not to distribute those monies but to buy back much of their stock in the markets.

How does the "strong" economy help those who don't have 401Ks or invest in the stock market? That is the vast majority of people in the nation.

And if the economy is so strong, where are the infrastructure projects? Why is the coal industry tanking despite all the socialistic subsidies that Trump has given it. Why has the steel industry's largest company in Michigan just decided to lay off some 1400 employees?

Since October of 1990 the s&p 500 has returned 1764%, inclusive of dividends. Been long the us and long the s&p during that period. Yes, I have created jobs and yes, my employees have healthcare insurance that my company pays 100 percent of the premium on for them and yes, I have a profit sharing 401k plan that my company requires them to be a part each year by auto enrolling them and making them opt out every year. If they opt out, not my fault. I have helped those that want to be helped achieve financial independence through the creation of wealth using the stock market. I know more about how it works and have achieved positive alpha with negative beta for decades. Haven’t done it on the mike Bloomberg scale, but I am happy and live a good life on my smaller scale. Haven’t shook down any country’s using my dads vp status and never got 50k a month for being a board member in an industry that I have no experience in. I earned my money by working and saved and invested it over my prime working years, forgoing that latest air jordans and instead buying Nike through a drip plan for example. I forgot more about the equity markets then you know

I never mentioned Trump at all in my comment. I just pointed out some things about this economy that one can see when one chooses to look under the hood and see a bit deeper into all this.

I give no pass to Democrats or Republicans when it comes to the economy. I give no credit to Trump for jumping onto an economy already trending in the direction he wants to take credit for.
