1) we have multiple party system, (this is why Obama runs as a liberal, democrat/Trump runs as conservative, republican, RTLife, ect) politicians on both sides do this to cover the additional bases. Ross Perot ran 2x in 92' and 96' on the main ticket!!!!
2) we already have term limits.
3) "Say what you will about the Democratic Socialists and their views, but they understand this and that's what their primary focus is about." You are kidding right? How do these socialists expect to pay for everything? and "Educating the electorate"??? you are kidding right? you most of these people have law degrees!!! Political Science majors at worst....How much more education do you want them to have?
In Summary people like TRUMP and Tulsi know the problems and are fighting both incumbent democrats and republicans to drain the swamp. Political career politicians see TRUMP and Tulsi as threats to the way its always been done.
There are no term limits for member of Congress. For the President, yes, but members of the House and Senate can be voted into office as many terms as their constituents choose to elect them.
This is the normal cry against any big ticket item....How will we pay for it? It's an argument of deflection. Why don't you ask that question when our government decides to go to war? Why don't you ask that question when the government decides to build a wall across the southern border? Why don't you ask that question when the government decides to give a tax cut? We pay for such things by budgeting for them, moving monies into place to execute the steps needed to implement these changes.
The rest of your comments are just a rant.

And now Stephen Miller's 900+ emails to Breitbart have been made public and we see the true white supremacist that has created the architecture of Trump's immigration policy.
There are a lot of people who owe that Congressman Ilhan Omar an apology. She called him out for this well over 8 months ago and was ridiculed for it.
Go read the emails. Disgusting.

Where has pelosi been? Awfully quiet now that the witch hunt she authorized is not bipartisan and the exact high crime is still being conjured up. Obama didn’t release the arms to Ukraine in the first place, but trump not releasing them for a day is a crime now? Mind you, he did release them. Quid pro quo? Did the Ukraine give him anything in return? What was exchanged? Only thing this sham hearing, held in secret in the basement by the democrats proved is that the deep state is real. Schiff is out on his own, he will be the patsy when the public calls bs on high crimes. No republicans on board equal this goes nowhere if it goes to senate. House has been embarrassed.

The Obama administration did give Ukraine aid. Quite a lot, all approved by Congress and delivered. Initially they hesitated in lethal aid fearing it might escalate the conflict. Eventually lethal aid was given but not the Javelins Ukraine had asked for.

Trump withheld congressionally approved aid for months, not days. He only released it when he got called out by government agencies AND in the press. He had given aid to Ukraine previously but once Biden announced suddenly he's concerned about corruption? That story is pure fiction. Even if it was legit he had an obligation to report those issues to Congress.

"Here's a condensed version of the timeline:
-Ukraine was investigating Manafort for corruption and shady financial dealings in 2016 and 2017.
-On June 7, 2017, Giuliani traveled to Ukraine and met with Poroshenko and Lutsenko.
-On June 9, the investigation into Manafort was placed under Lutsenko's and Poroshenko's control and was effectively frozen.
-On June 20, Poroshenko got a long-sought after White House meeting with Trump.
-Around that time, the Trump administration signed off critical military aid to Ukraine."

"The first lethal deliveries came from Trump," said Jim Townsend, deputy assistant secretary of defense for European and NATO Policy during the Obama administration.
Trump the supposed "Russian agent" sending the weapons Ukraine was asking for.

The rules being followed, were approved by the House years ago, under Republican leadership. Non-public sessions were held to determine if there was sufficient reason and evidence to hold public impeachment sessions. That is done to protect the witnesses from harassment by the media and political opposition. Apparently the majority of the House found just cause and here we are....public hearings and testimony.
We shall see where this goes and what the Senate does, if the House impeaches. Most suspect the Senate to vote along partisan lines and not remove Trump. However, the Senate does have some leeway as to how it approaches this and if just 3 Republican Senators support a secret vote after they try Trump, we may see a very interesting outcome. One has to wonder what those Senators would do if they didn't have to be held publicly accountable by their constituents.

As you can see con couldn't even be bothered reading your post. It is true that the Senate could take a secret vote but I really doubt they will. They have no spine, no cajones. They fear Trump's base too much should their vote ever be made public. They also can write their won impeachment proceeding rules, so we know where this will go. https://www.politico.com/magazine/st...-office-229911
