So you pick your corner with the Republicans, a party of no spine that allows its leader to shyte on our Constitution because they covet their position and party far more than what's right for our nation.

You prove my point.

I never took a word of advocacy for any side in this quagmire. But you sure spin it to fit your perspective.

We have lost what it takes to be a responsible American that understands what civics means. We have lost the meaning and truths embodied in our Constitution and we continue to put people in power who have little interest in doing right and don't really understand the altruistic nature needed to be a good Congressman in this nation.

It's our fault. The people who fill the ballot box every election. We let ourselves be bought and sold by false platitudes, manipulative advertising and a general laziness about doing diligence needed to find and select the best able to lead us.

I will say this about those young progressives and even some of the young conservatives rising from the millennials into power. They have the passion and the idealism needed to be the kind of leaders our nation must have to right itself. If the boomers and Gen Xers in charge now don't destroy too much on the way out and don't corrupt these young folk too much along the way, perhaps my grand kids will have the world they should have instead of the one we are about to leave them.

I doubt the Senate will remove him because the Republicans won't provide enough votes on their side to go with the Democrat Senators who will vote for removal.

But there will be something that McConnell directly and Trump indirectly will fear. Votes for and against impeachment and votes for and against removal will be a matter of record. And every Republican who doesn't vote for impeachment or removal will find their time deeply taken up by defending the votes over and over again.

Don't you have to have an investigation of the facts first. Until Trump released a portion of the transcript, they had no idea what he actually said. I read it. No quid pro quo. He said you should look into it. Big deal. Obama, et al took secret trump dossiers from foreign agents to influence the election. Hilary paid for it for Godsakes. She was a senator. She should have been impeached for that alone. Obama approved wire taps based on it. He should have been impeached. If that is all they have, then I don't think it will be enough to get the sensible democrats off the fence. Maxine Waters, AOC and the squad, etc they would impeach with no evidence, just to tell their supporters they delivered on a promise from when word leaked of trump banging a pornstar before he was president. No way republican senators find him guilty, so all for nothing really. This thing will rag on longer then the mueller report. Congress is going to recess shortly and so they can't even start until end of November. Then the stalling and doc requests happen. Good luck!
