Charges are all post election yes, but they are quite serious (lying to Congress or FBI = 5 years per charge). However, in the indictment is information strongly suggesting there may be additional charges stemming from pre-election actions. All charges don't have to be filed at once., especially if it is part of a continuing investigation involving others. FBI agents raided his house yesterday and he had to surrender his passport (if he didn't try to destroy evidence yet knowing they were hovering then he's not very bright). They guy is an utter clown but it's not wonder he and trump are friends.

Flynn and Pop are bit players with fairly minor charges who cooperated. Manafort was not only found guilty but his subsequent absurdly stupid actions forced Mueller to say he should go no credit for cooperation. Cohen could have gone to jail for longer but also got a decent deal for cooperating as well. If Stone doesn't cooperate then that's a bigger test. But so far just about everyone in Trump's sphere has cooperated with authorities.

You're quoting a liberal poll that had very favorable result for the president among Hispanics fact check the president's tweet touting their own poll. They don't dispute the results of their poll and the 153 isn't an unusually low number given the portion of Hispanics that make up the general population. It just points to a larger margin of error (look up the central limit theorem). So the worst case is that 40% of Hispanics approve of the president. A huge increase from 2016 election. Only polls have supported this including Rasmussen. That is the story here!

Thanks for quoting realclearpolitics poll numbers as I introduced it to this thread over a year ago. Trump's overall approval at 41% is really good at this point in time. Since RCP is averaging mostly polls that are quoting registered voters this means Trump's real approval rating is probably around 43% - 45%. A minor hit from the shutdown and a perfect place to be if he can maintain this going into 2020.

Flynn only got a slap on the wrist because he did his service honorably, unfortunately he carried a grudge against Obama/Clinton after being fired, so when he was hired by Trump with Trump knowing and disbelieving Obama’s advice NOT to hire him he still did...Trump was thinking it was a trick from Obama to advise him in not hiring Flynn so as to not reveal anything to implicate anyone in the Obama Administration.
