The markets are down for a number of reasons - concerns about Brexit and other international economies, Trump's trade policies, uncertainty about Trump, a slump in tech stocks, the party is over from the tax-break stock buybacks, topped off with Mnuchin's stupid phone calls the other day and the government shutdown. The Fed raising interest rates slightly isn't what is driving the downward turn.

The Dems are brutal to any GOP candidate. Never on policy. I would have voted for Biden if he had run, but never HRC. She was the worst candidate to run for any office in history. And lost to the second worst in large part bc some Dems are too stupid to understand how they are perceived by anyone who isn’t in line with their cult.
