Why didn’t she release the letter during the hearings? Fbi has already said they will not investigate this “serious crime from the 80s”.

You would have paid for it back then as well. What's the difference? Not every criminal gets caught right after committing a crime. Now it's been investigated, Mueller got the guy and Manafort's seized assets pay for the entire investigation with cash to spare. It's leading to multiple other indictments and guilty pleas with more yet to come. Deal with THAT.
