Because they have had a lot of recent common colds

      This is actually very interesting
I bet on the virus gonna virus

Children do better because they (mostly) do not have co-morbidities that can lead to death and long term health issues. If a kid does have issues, like heart disease then they will have the same problems with covid that adults with the same issues will encounter.

        Quit making up stupid stuff.

          ☝️Is BS
Kids do well because they have robust immune symptoms
They have robust immune systems because they fight of a lot of colds because it takes years to be exposed to all the virus out there.

Fight off colds? Good god kids have colds every other week. Because cold viruses mutate so readily you'll only be immune to one particular cold strain for about a year - and there's thousands of strains out there, always changing

That sounds like exercising your immune system to keep it in top form.
Very helpful for all virus particularly CV

What happens when you get old
Immune system does not work as well.

              Pretty simple stuff.

16,848 died in the US from covid last week. Trumps going for 20,000 this week. You know he is hard at work doing absolutely nothing.

Hey, it’s bad all over. Japan, with a bit over 1/3 of our population, has skyrocketing cases. Last week Japan had 284 deaths. Why, if Japan were doing as well as US they would have a lot more than their 181,000 cases and 2,491 deaths. Why, they should have 5.4 million cases and 100,000 dead. Slackers.

The administration is scrambling to try and get people vaccinated. Months of saying "The virus is no big deal but NOW you need to hurry up and get vaccinated!" If it wasn't this big deal then why the rush to develop a vaccine and get it into people's arms.

Yeah. We can all dream we did as well as S Korea. But, no. We have Trump - and a lot of people who say things like 2% of Americans dying is fine. Oh, and “virus going to virus”. Except, you know, people in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, S. Korea, Finland, Germany, the slavic nations, S. America except Brazil, etc etc. all have special secret immunity.

                          You should check out Germany
About to lockdown again and massive protest in the streets
They are canceling Christmas with their shutdown
They are so stupid they announced Sunday they will lockdown everything on Wednesday
So now everyone is out doing everything they can to shop for Christmas & food today & tomorrow.
Everything is more crowded that at any point in the last year.
Then, after all this overcrowding they are forcing people back in their homes where the virus they picked up today & tomorrow from the crowded shopping can spread in their household.
                          Dumb

BTW - their epi curve is the same as their neighbors.

Tell me about Peru in South America
Most strict lockdown in South America
Highest death rate in South America too.

Yes -- we can wish and dream that we were as good at addressing covid as Germany. 14,209 cases yesterday, 206 deaths. Population 83,000,000 or about 1/4 of the U.S. population. 1,350,000 cases and 22,106 deaths since February. By comparison -- the U.S. with a population of 324,000,000 has 16,368,000 cases and 302,188 deaths.

So, if we were to equate Germany to the US; Germany would have 5,400,000 cases and 88,424 deaths. Gee -- I wonder who is doing better?

But -- we have Trump as our leader so we are busy killing a few hundred thousand more Americans than if we had a real leader. After all -- Trump is looking to do nothing, and kill off 20,000 more Americans just this week. Think about that -- an entire town's worth of Americans will die this week. And, we can look forward to another 20,000 more Americans dying from covid the following week. Won't that make for a very merry Christmas for 40,000 families over the next 2 weeks? That's lots of funerals to plan, and mourning to commence. Nothing like dealing with a family member's death over the holidays. Thanks President Trump.

Thank you Trump for the vaccines and Operation Warp Speed! An incredible American scientific achievement leading the world to eradicate the virus with the second vaccine on track to be approved this week.
