High school sports are a social event. The levels of all CT high schools is very low in every sport. It’s fun to play with your friends and in front of a lot of fans but let’s be real and not rush back. No sense in shutting school districts down

Originally posted by Unregistered View Postthat is a big part of the issue, especially with football. They keep protesting but residents know most college football is cancelled. some HS football is cancelled- not all

They did much better then we did.
Maybe my mother-in-law would still be alive.

But like I said my mother in law was here and died in a nursing home.
Governor did nothing to help CT nursing homes and killed the patients in nursing homes
Florida did a better job protecting the nursing homes.
This is just my families personal experience.
One family member is alive and one is dead.

CT 1258
FL 595
Connecticut appears to be twice as deadly as FL.
Sorry for your loss.

CT (CN) COVID Deaths: 26,785
FL COVID Deaths: 12,788
NY COVID Deaths: 36,540
FL COVID Deaths: 12,788
As the other poster said, CT more than twice as deadly, NY more than three times as deadly as Florida. And FL has the most elderly population of the aforementioned states.
