colleges are requiring a negative test to return to campus so yes CT college kids tested in state are counted
my kid took 2 tests last week- a quick turnaround test and a 5 day turn around
so she may have counted twice ( both negative, thanks for the concern)

UCONN isn't having any undergrad out of state students and I think Yale is mostly online. That's two of the biggest schools with lower possible infected students right there.

Student cases should be counted locally if they were tested locally and they're residing here. Their school and the DPH cares more about them than the state they came from does.

Dr. Gifford, the DPH acting commish that was appointed in May said they are standing behind their recommendations.

UConn is absolutely having some out of state undergrads.

Yale will be at about 40% residential density on campus.

"some" is not the same as all, is it? Poster's point was the number of out state college students this fall will be well below normal

                  1) HS football should move to a 7v7 format with no line and no tackling.

                  2) Girls Volleyball should move to be played outdoors.

Are you fûcking kidding me? Specifically with the volleyball recommendation. Please show me all of the outdoor volleyball courts that exist. Are they suggesting these girls play in modified HS parking lots? On outdoor concrete basketball courts in town? This one makes zero sense to me. What are they talking about?
Let them play beach volleyball outside in October in swimsuits. Will be difficult to keep the boys away.

Saw that and he was not only player on the team to leave either.
Poor leadership here in CT from EVERYONE involved.

Southern Connecticut Pop Warner cancelled its fall football season.

                          Who's next?

You get a chance to play there, you go. Screw HS sports. That doesn't apply to anyone playing soccer in CT right now

Football should be postponed. Soccer not so much

Seems CIAC went all in on no postponement, for any sports. It’s either do it the only way it will be allowed or forfeit the grade yr season. Unless they become fluid on the subject, certainly possible. For football if it were up to players they might prefer taking a chance on a real spring season if it were an option, same for soccer if they had to play by the new MA guidelines.
