    That’s a BIG “IF”

Mommy from 2006 team of course. We beat them and are superior, they beat us in the championship, but we have a valid reason to discount our loss.
YOUR KID'S TEAM LOST WHEN IT COUNTED (believe it or not, its not the end of the world). STOP MAKING EXCUSES!!!

The level of insanity on this board is so entertaining.

the parents don't need to yell boot it. the coach does plenty of that for them..... it was pretty funny in the OPI final when ginga 07 actually possessed the ball more than a team a year older and supposedly superior, and as the game went on you heard more of the "boot it" screams from the bench area. our girls played well and deserved to win.

this guy gets it. i surely hope nobody ever comes here for real advice on their child's club selection or coaching. but, it is a good place if you want to laugh at someone who thinks they are really changing someone's mind.

Winning in a tournament and playing good soccer rarely go together in the youth game. It becomes the lowest form of the game, route 1 all day long.

100% true. And the best part is that at least half of the coaches who talk so much about style and attractive soccer will toss that out the window the moment they think they may win a tournament or final. All of a sudden the direction to recycle and maintain possession gets swapped for "play it in behind!!" Full of s h- t, all of them.

662,000+ views and 8,800+ posts later and it's still the club everyone is talking about. Alive and literally kicking! Sorry. You lose.

That unique special feeling of explaining to a talented, possession-based team of ULittles who just lost in a tournament to a fast kickball team is something I'll never forget.

Here is what you SHOULD have told them. You scored 0 goals .... the point of this game is not to dribble and pass around midfield and in front of your own goal all day. You need to score goals to win. Period. Try that next time they get shut out.
