Seriously? If you didn’t know this by now you clearly don’t follow soccer in CT.

Or all RD has to do is ask any parent (which he would never do) or player or, again, simply watch a game or two. And anyone who has a clue about the game, and watches the '06 team play can see it. Those girls played a beautiful possession style up until COVID hit and then CM took over.....'04 team plays a solid possession style, with overlaps, 1-2's, build-up, solid teamwork, etc, '05 team is similar but also has a lot of individual talent which wins games-- but both these teams were groomed and developed by MC and the recent '05 run to the GA semis was pretty much due to him. And what does RD do?? -- He fires MC and promotes CM to be head coach of like 3 teams. Unfortunately, the '07's will become even more abysmal.....sad
CM does not develop players, doesn't know how and could careless about that aspect of the game, he's there to collect a paycheck and to make friends with the girls. along with EP his trainings are the same thing week after week and they both hold a B licence. looks like there was a coaches battle CM/EP against MC/TW this spring and the clowns won out as MC/TW aren't around any more.

GA is very slow; those Oakwood teams look like they play in molasses with their speed. Skilled, but slow. When they face skilled and quicker teams; they get crushed.

Not done but absolutely not the club they once were. They're going to have to 1) pray MLS+ holds together for boys, 2) figure out if they want to stay with the joke of GAL or move to something else... if GAL even makes it.

you play the way you train. you train slow you play slow. that's the coaches fault. there is no competition in training everyone knows there gonna play 60 minutes or mommy is going to bitch and moan. coaches don't have the balls to stand up to parents at ow

The same way a town soccer organization can turf their field and put in lights?

apples and oranges. Physical upgrades for the benefit of a town club (and town residents) versus purchasing a private club.

Are you claiming that Sporting is a town entity run by town parks and rec. or something? Or, is it a non-profit or other corporation?

Here's a clue, the name of the parent organization is "Middletown Youth Soccer, Inc."

Yes, exactly. MIDDLETOWN. Doesn't matter if it's Park and Rec or a LLC (or anything in between). You're evading the question: how does the purchase of a failing private club help Middletown?

let's stop pretending that the offer was actually made when it wasn't
