As a Oakwood parent I saw two games yesterday 08/07. All I can say is we are not even close to being on par with NEFC. We had three coaches on the sideline who could not beat a 5th grader at tic tac toe. I can say the parents are not happy at all after what they saw. When next year comes along you will see a mass exodus of the few kids that can play the game. This is not a CFC or FSA parent I drank the kool-aid. No more.Comment

Next year may surprise Oakwood. Parents of the players who can play are willing to travel a bit after what they saw. The mass boarder is not that far. It is sad all oakwood had to do was make some cuts but they took all, they were very short sighted. Look at the 06 GA team 13 kids they are begging to get a few more.Comment

league scores shows OW u16s and 17s won, 19s lost, no others ones posted yet but rumors of poor results are plentiful. Some of their older players may not have had many options for places to go, or wanted to stay with their teams. Younger players had more options

The 3 older teams (u19, u17 and u16) will be the last decent teams at this club. The quality players at the younger ages have either left, will leave or won’t come to Oakwood.
