The backstory to that that team is that parent recruiting is behind their success. They basically picked off every good player in the state with the idea of making a super team to compete on the larger stage. Obviously not every player (family) wanted to get involved but the majority did. They had a few Top 10 ECNL finishes and basically the entire roster got recruited by D1 programs. Realistically not something we'll see again in CT.
Too many mercenary parents changing clubs every year, driving to Mass and NY to chase it. There's enough talent in CT in to compete regionally and nationally just can't be spread out on three teams.Comment

^ definitely part of it, but also some years theres just luck of the draw with more or less talent out there. The 03 21s are a contrast; all three clubs struggle with that age.Comment
