Thanks OW Dad. You are simply confirming that’s that the overall level of the club is basically that of a decent NPL team. Oakwood was NPL, entered the Academy which drove players to the NPL team and other clubs. Net results is watered down teams at both levels.

College coaches know that as well.

Congrats on the big win though. Maybe the rematch can be on the boards

Soccer parents are notoriously suspicious and a parent coach will always be under the microscope, every move questioned. It isn't worth it. Assign a qualified parent coach in charge of another team.

Daddy coaches at the top three clubs routinely give their own kids unearned playing time and let their kid skip practices without repercussions. This includes OW, though it's fair if you consider their girls teams outside the top 3.

Well, FSA does the same thing and does not let ECNL and NPL teams scrimmage each other.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rick and Dave have put in a new rule to prohibit the scrimmaging of teams in the same age group to make sure this type of thing never happens again. Avoiding the problem is certainly a better policy than fixing it for sure.

Love the arguments about "most likely", "not watered down as much" that ECNL Dbags say. Its always the weakest argument. And its not even whether one is true vs the other, its your passion and righteousness behind it. Its like two 4'10" guys arguing whos shorter.

Nothing better than the dimwitted OW parents coming to the rescue. Your club is dormant

dave and rick could careless about the girls side of the program. maybe rick a little more for the free trips for the showcases in florida and California.

MC is supposedly running the show but hearing about all the things the GDA girls are doing outside the club with other soccer clubs and programs it looks like there is no oversite on the GDA side.

Not asked. Other clubs help players develop much better and OW players stagnate or get worse as their confidence is drilled out of them.

or the white trash, overzealous CFC parents. That club is nothing but child molester and cheaters for coaches. But I guess anything to try and get you're kid into college, at the expense of your child. nice soccer decision CFC parents!

CFC nas A and B team starting at U9 (god only knows how one separates kids by skills at this age) and FSA has A, B, C, and D teams (again, god only knows how one separates kids by skills at this age). Kid confidence at these clubs are sky high??? makes zero sense DB. Another weak argument.

                                Npl team

Let’s stop the nonsense. The 2006 npl girls were the worst team in the npl league. Yankee and everyone else was far better in that league. The 2006 da girls are decent. The two teams are not close and yes that is due to some 2007 girls playing up. A scrimmage was the Olympics for the npl girls. Please Go back to your last place finish in your npl league.
