LK is a great player and I wish her nothing but the best at her new club. Sadly, there are more crazy competitive parents out there that all they care about is their kid and not the team aspect of soccer.

So the reason why the NPL '06 tied (pretty sure,and did not beat) the DA '06 was because half the team was out playing Futsal somewhere (something they have been doing all winter) - and something which is really good for total team chemistry and development (sarcasm).

They were there too ... Do t let them snow you. They chose the wrong kids.

Relax on touting that 2006 NPL team. That team is very weak. They were horrible in the Mass NPL league. There are probably 10 plus 2006 teams in the state better than that team.

Wow someone stood up to a "stud" and they folded like a cheap suit .... Shocker. Great lesson for life for sure. Pack up your ball and run where people are nicer. Tons of respect. Why can't her parents tell her to kick the other kids ass in practice and make her shut up?

my guess is that she did kick that kids ass every practice so it wasn't a challenge anymore
so she left for greener pastures and you got left with the baggage

it is a great life lesson- when you have done all you can do at one place move to a better place-
sometimes the noise just isn't worth the trouble, no matter much you like the rest of the program

Dad's of girl players and Mom's of boy players are generally the bat**** crazy ones. Of course there are a few exceptions. And while OW has it's fair share of bat**** crazy parents a lot of other clubs do too.

Well then your the fool who is paying for kickball lessons... can’t imagine anyone would pay for that, just as I am sure any parent who was paying club fees would certainly go to another club rather than throw their money away on kickball. People that make up stories... smh

My kid likes to play soccer and as young as she is she knows neither she or any of her teammates are NT caliber players, she plays because she enjoys the game. Too many people on TS get carried away on thinking kids only choose to play as a pathway to NT or a college scholarship, hard to believe someone could play just for the love of the game and nothing more

Then stay in rec/travel and why are you on TS? This is for club bashing and college scholarship/NT camp bragging. If you’re paying for a club because your kid enjoys soccer, then you’re fooling yourself. No one pays big bucks just for love.. unless you are in Vegas and need a friend.

thats not hard to imagine at all- thats what AYSO is all about
it hard to believe that you would pay 10K ,give up 25 weekends a year and post on a soccer blog- for the love of the game

you can pay for love in most big cities- it may just look better in vegas
