Actually, 1,000 are bashing posts. 3,000 are defending posts. Along with raffle ticket sales and snack duty, Oakwood parents have to be on notification alert duty so that the club is defended 24/7.

If you want 1v1 technical skills, you need extra training. Those skills are not taught at oakwood which is why they replace so many if their own at 13 and 14 for outsiders.

Ct Brazil and oakwood players......Ginga/ct Brazil has a huge futsal program that has been around for many years and they travel to almost any futsal tourney in the northeast. So yes some players who recently moved to oakwood brought some oakwood players to ct Brazil to play futsal for the winter. Why is that a big deal? They do it to maybe pick up some footskills and actually have some fun doing something different in the winter. The real issue is why would anyone on here care.

Worse than participating is OW parents letting their kids participate. So stupid.

Get over yourself. Many OW players have played BrazilCt over the years. There were a ton of 99 and 00s that did for years. OW training lacks technical skills building for individuals ..... Newsflash ..... A critical part of higher level soccer.

What does it matter what they do in the offseason? Makes sense that they would go to the best futsal program in the state.

Brazil is a great supplement to club soccer in the winter. There’s a group of juniors and seniors that played together for years and came from Yankee, Oakwood, CFC, Ginga. Headed to D1 and D2 schools now. All part of their development

Yes, OW can only aggregate players developed at other clubs, and their own players don't develop and get cut. Daddy coaches have that effect.

If you play DA, you are indeed under contract. Did you even read what you signed? No high school soccer, no soccer with any other club/group period, other sports are allowed but with any conflict with DA (games or practices) you must choose DA, (if your coach is a real douche they schedule last minute practices on Saturdays during indoor track meets), no tryouts for any other clubs without prior permission,... It goes on.

So, no, these kids are not permitted to play futsol for another club, period.

This is why DA is such a croc of BS. Nobody who isn’t involved is jealous by any means. They are just informed and see the ridiculousness of the above rules for young to mid teenagers.
